There have been a number of recent changes with Flexicar since the launch of our new app and platform, as such, we wanted to provide you with a quick update.
The Flexicar team has received some member feedback on technical issues, which we are working tirelessly to resolve and ensure an improved Flexicar experience for every member.
Flexicar Changes
With a new app comes new features! Based on the questions and feedback we’ve heard from the Flexicar community here is a quick update of commonly asked questions.
Logging into your Flexicar Account:

Log into your account via the new Flexicar app or online via our website

Please note: If you haven’t already logged into the new app or website, you’ll need reset your password
Accessing Vehicles

When you’re ready to access the car, use the app to start the pre-check process. Click on your relevant booking in the app and you will be asked to take and upload images of the vehicle as part of the collection condition report.

It’s recommended that you upload images of the exterior of the car before you start your journey for potential future reference

Once you’ve uploaded the images, you can now unlock your vehicle by swiping the lock icon across the bottom.
Starting the vehicle

To start the vehicle, place your foot on the brake pedal and press down, then hold down the ‘START-STOP ENGINE’ button until the ignition turns on.

The ‘START-STOP ENGINE’ button is typically located on the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard.

Please note, only vehicles with turn keys will need a key to start the car.

Once the engine is on, you’re ready to go!

Locking the vehicle

Locking your vehicle is done via the new Flexicar app.

If you need to leave the vehicle during your booking, all you need to do to lock it is swipe the lock icon to the left on the homepage on the app and it will lock automatically.

To unlock the car when you return, swipe the same bar located at the bottom of the screen in the app.
Ending your booking

Before leaving the vehicle, check you have all your belongings with you

In the app’s home page, click on the ‘End Your Trip’ icon on the far right of the tab and follow the prompts to conclude your booking.

Once you have hit ‘End Your Trip’ you should receive your final invoice relating to the booking.
