As part of our ongoing effort to improve your experience, we’ve made some amendments to the Terms and Conditions of your Flexicar service. The changes are minor but please make sure you read them carefully before the next time you book.
The amendments we have made allow us to continue to provide a satisfactory service to our members, and are effective as of the 24th March, 2017. By continuing to book with Flexicar you are agreeing to these updated terms of service.
1. We have added in the excess cost for Commercial Vehicles. Commercial vehicles are our HiAce Vans and Hilux utility vehicles, and the standard excess for damage on these vehicles is $3000. You cannot reduce your excess on a Utility Vehicle, even if you are on an $0 excess plan. This has been implemented as part of a review on our fleet management process, so that we can continue to provide Flexicars that are of a high standard to our members.
2. We have clarified the damage reporting and fuel fine process. Please ensure that you check your Flexicar at the start of every booking to make sure there is no additional unreported damage or excessive mess inside the vehicle. There is a damage diagram in the Re:member manual of each Flexicar where any existing damage will be marked. If you find damage that is not marked, please give our Member Care Team a call on 1300 36 37 80 to report it, otherwise you may be liable for the cost of repair Additionally, please leave your Flexicar with at least 1/4 tank of petrol out of courtesy for the next member who uses the car. If you leave the car with excessive rubbish or mess inside, you may be liable for the cost of a clean.
